Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information MyLinkVault collects, and how it is used.

  • Your Email Address - when you sign up for an account, we ask you to provide a valid email address. We will not sell or rent your email address to a third party. We may send you updates about MyLinkVault if you elect to receive them via Settings.
  • Your Password - when you sign up for an account, we also ask you to provide a password. An encrypted form of your password is kept on our servers. We cannot read this password, so if you forget it, you can have a newly generated password sent to your email address via the "Forgot password?" link on the front page.
  • Your Links - if you use this service, hopefully you'll have a lot of links on the site. No other users can see your links at this stage. They are visible to third party advertising services we use for the purposes of displaying relevant advertising.
  • Cookies - MyLinkVault stores a cookie on your computer to remember that you have logged in.

We do not disclose your personally identifying information to third parties unless we believe we are required to do so by law or have a good faith belief that such access, preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (b) enforce the MyLinkVault Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, (d) respond to user support requests, or (e) protect the rights and property of Thomas Rice (owner of MyLinkVault), or of MyLinkVault's users or the public.

We reserve the right to transfer your personal information in the event of a transfer of ownership of MyLinkVault.
